Members are informed of current events and plans for field trips by means of a mailing list. Apart from notices of meetings, membership dues or links of particular interest, we will not send any unsolicited content.

Membership Categories
There are 3 categories of Branch membership, with current fees as listed below:
Ordinary Member: R100 /year
Associate Member: R100 /year
Student Member: R50 /year
Membership is for one year from 1 March until end February and will be renewed annually until cancelled.
Associate members are not members of the Geological Society of South Africa, but with an interest in the aims of the Western Cape Branch.
Honorary membership is limited to those who have been branch members for 25 years or more, and who have served the Branch in some capacity. Honorary Members are exempt from fees.

If you would like to renew your membership, please make payment to our bank account, using your name + surname as a reference and emailing proof of payment to info@gssawc.org.za.
